Dj Bedman was born in Mesolongi on December of 1975 and because of his father’s work he was living for a period of 5 years in various cities in Greece & abroad (Dubai, Athens, Trikala, Chalkida) as after that and until 1987 in Saudi Arabia (Jeddah). When he came back to Athens (Galatsi) he started being familiar with the rap / hip hop culture. From the beginning of the 90’s he realized that what he liked more in this music was the fact to support the vinyl behind the decks as a Dj. Moreover in the beginning of 90’s he started making music where as a target he had to produce music for his brother Gelos. From 2009 until today (2015) he lives in Qatar with his family having as an objective to return to Greece as soon as possible.

As a Dj: From the beginning of 90’s until today, he has participated in many events as the main artist or as a part of a team being a proud member of State Of Da Boom from the 1st date of its establishment. State of Da Boom was the first hip hop Dj team that introduced hip hop in the clubs & bars of Athens, at least by that period where previously it was not so familiar. SODB apart from the music events they were supporting the live shows of the legendary Terror X Crew. He has participated as a guest in other teams such as Bootie Call, Pure Pleasurz and has appeared in the same decks with Dj Jimmy Dee (Alfa Gama), Everlast (FFC), Sparky T, Dj The Boy. Moreover he was one of the founding members of the dj team Boogie Bounce Nights (Savvas - Koza) where also they first introduced in the night life of Athens freestyle sessions with music styles such as hip hop, R&B, Drum & Bass, trip hop, reggae.

He is the official Dj of Gelws until today and has supported Skotini Plevra (Eisvoleas & Gelws), Eisvoleas & Taki Tsan in their live shows until 2010.

As a beat maker: He has cooperated with his brother Gelos (Metaksi Ouranou Kai Gis – Ektos Oriwn cd’s), with Eisvoleas & Gelws as Skotini Plevra (Polemistes Zois), Esterina (This is a Happy Story), Taki Tsan, Detro, Logos Apili, Spike69, Xino, Esc Key, Monimos Katikos, Dj Micro, Rmado, Fyroi, Dopemonx, UniVocal, Sick Side Army (Brown Bonez, Thief Sicario, Madman, Addic, Damian Grey, Truth, Phychosis, Fatality). Finally he has released the below 4 mixtapes and all are available in downloads section.

Finally he was an official member of Hhokratoria & Tomahok.

DJ Bedman - Tales from the Ground Under Cover

On July 2010 he releases from the Internet and through IHOKRATORIA Tales From The Ground Under by having feats in Raps and Singing from Gelws, Esterina, Eisvoleas, Taki Tsan, Εsc Key, Χino, Dopemonx, Φυρόι and from USA & CANADA Brown Bonez & Sick Side Army (Madman, Thief Sicario, Damian Grey, Psychosis, Addic & Truth).Also in this tape, are included 11 tracks from Gelws which also were not included in Metaksi Ouranou Kai Gis album. The latter as well as the contribution from other friends and artists made the tape to have 24 tracks in total. The music was arranged and produced by Dj Bedman, and it is available in the Downloads section.

On 29^th November 2013, exclusively from www.gelws.gr the Tales from The Tapes is being released with participations from Gelws, Skotini Plevra, Esterina, Monimos Katoikos & Dj Micro, Taki Tsan, Fyroi, Dopemonx, UniVocal (Greece), Fatality, Brown Bonez (Canada), Madman & Addic (US). The cd is a combination of new and unreleased tracks along with remixes and mashups. With the mashups someone can be able to hear the legendary Dire Straits, Rod Stewart and Pashalis to be on the same track with Gelws, Dopemonx and Esterina.
